Intercivic Council Meeting

Program for September 11, 2018 Meeting

The Intercivic Council Membership will be voting on the

Golden Deeds Award Recipient for 2018

Dear Fellow Inter-Civic Council Members:

Next Tuesday, September 11th we’ll be voting for the Golden Deeds Award.  See below for a list of organizations and how many voting representatives may attend the meeting.  If you are eligible for two votes, only two people may attend the meeting.  If you are eligible for one vote, only one person may attend.  And if you are not eligible to vote, we hope to see you at our October meeting, but you’re not allowed to attend next week’s meeting.  Be sure to coordinate with each other so that your organization has the right number of people showing up – no more, no less.  And if your organization’s regular representative(s) can’t show up, you may send a substitute (of good moral character) to vote.  And be sure whoever is going to represent your organization in the voting knows that it’s at Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant (4215 S Sherwood Forest Blvd) and that they must be in the meeting room before 6:30 p.m. … nobody will be allowed to enter the room after 6:30.  If possible, try to get there by 6:00 p.m. so that we can sign everybody in, collect everyone’s meal money, and know how many people to tell Hunan’s are eating ... once 6:30 comes, nobody including Hunan’s wait staff will be allowed in the room.  When you sign in, you’ll be given a voting credential (on colored paper) like the sample below … please put that on the table in front of where you’re sitting … this will let us know that you belong in the room and are eligible to vote.  We have 47 eligible voters next week … last year every organization had their full allotment (1 or 2) of eligible voters show up.
